My journey has taken me in many different directions, from designing websites to crafting unique jewelry, apparel, and even luxury candles. This creative spirit was nurtured by my dad, a dreamer who believed in following your passions. Today, I own Sweet Sunshine Co. because, like my dad, I’m a dreamer too.

I find immense joy in creating—whether it’s a beautifully designed website, a logo that captures the essence of a brand, or a hand-poured candle that brings warmth and comfort to a home. My education in web design laid a strong foundation, but my love for crafting extends far beyond that. Each piece I create is infused with love and grace, gifts from the Lord that I’m blessed to share with the world.

    Welcome, Friend! I'm Maria Hamlin, the founder and creative mind behind Sweet Sunshine Co. It's a pleasure to meet you!

    I've always had a passion for creativity and self-expression, and helping people find the true love of Jesus has been a lifelong fascination of mine. From a young age, I found joy in talking about Jesus and showing His love through crafting unique pieces that reflected my personality and style. This passion eventually blossomed into Sweet Sunshine Co. where I have the opportunity to share my creations and the love of Jesus with the world.

    As a designer, I draw inspiration from a variety of sources – nature's beauty, art and culture, and the vibrant personalities of the people around me. Each pair of earrings I create tells a story, blending artistic expression with meticulous craftsmanship to produce pieces that are both visually stunning and deeply meaningful.

    Beyond the world of jewelry, I'm also deeply committed to fostering a sense of community and connection through creating websites that make my client's dreams become a reality. I believe that graphic design is more than just business– it's a form of self-expression that allows us to celebrate our individuality and connect with the world.

Mission Statement

My mission is to make a difference in people’s lives. I want the ones who just come to visit my website to feel like they are a human and are heard, seen, and loved. Sometimes humans meet other humans just by encountering their business. I want to be an advocate for my customers and community to feel beautiful when they read about my journey and purchase earrings. I want to support my customers in feeling uplifted and most of all I want their hearts to flutter when they see the one pair of earrings they want or read that one blog post that hits them and they have a realization that having meaning and self-love IS achievable. I hope my customers can realize how beautiful every one of them is with or without this program or earrings.
